Leadership

Education: Dave has a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences with a minor in Mountain Guide Education, a Master of Divinity from Western Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry in Biblical Theology from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Experience: Dr. Dave Berry has been in pastoral ministry since 2001. He served as a church planter in the Pacific North West for over a decade before moving to Flag. Dave has been the Senior Pastor of FCF since 2018. Dave is married to Rachael and they have 6 children.
Highlight of Pastor-Eldership: One of Dave’s passions is to preach the whole counsel of God from a whole bible theology centered on the gospel of Jesus Christ. Dave desires to see the church equipped for the work of ministry to build itself up in love. He has a unique drive to identify and train the next generation of ministry leaders whom the Spirit of God is raising up.

Experience: Josh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute and a Master of Divinity from The Master’s Seminary–Spokane. After serving as a resident pastor over youth ministry at Faith Bible Church in Spokane, WA, Josh then served as a pastor-elder at Immanuel Baptist Church in his hometown of Wausau, Wisconsin. Josh joined FCF as a pastor-elder in August 2025, with a particular focus on college and biblical counseling.

Highlights: Josh and Nicole met during their time at Moody Bible Institute, were married in 2016, and now enjoy life with their two children, Elanor and Wesley. Josh and Nicole enjoy deep conversations with friends over good food or coffee, family bike rides, hiking, and reading. They share a particular passion for helping God’s people know and walk with Christ through the varying joys and trials of this life. 

Experience: Jeff has attended FCF since 1986 and was married to Melinda in 1992. He has served as a Deacon in the areas of Technology and Administration for many years. He has taught several Adult Sunday School classes and apprenticed with our Elder Board for several years prior to being voted onto the Elder Board in January of 2023.
Highlights: Jeff and Melinda have four children - Dylan, Tyler, Sydney, and Cayden. Jeff works in the technology sector for a large global manufacturer that has an office in Flagstaff, but works mostly from home when he isn't traveling for work. Jeff and Melinda enjoy the outdoors - camping, hiking, and backpacking in Northern Arizona, the Grand Canyon, and wherever the trail takes them.

Experience: David has attended FCF since moving to Flagstaff in 1998 and has been a member since 2016 when he began to understand the importance of meaningful church membership.  He served as a Deacon overseeing facilities for about 10 years before being appointed as a pastor-elder in 2025.  He’s especially passionate about church, prayer, ministering to sinners and sufferers, biblical theology, and the law/gospel distinction.  

Highlights: David is husband to Sarah, and father to their 5 children: Samuel, Ethan, Levi, Caleb and Amelia. He has a business degree from NAU and currently runs a small business.  He enjoys hiking, reading, foraging, hunting, pickleball, and mountain biking.
